Tonight, we dine in heaven. But before we do, we are invited to have a drink at At.mosphere Club Dubai. A club or bar on level 122 of the worlds’ tallest building: The Burj Khalifa.

This is of course something we’ve been looking forward to from the moment we touched ground in Dubai. A visit to one of the greatest landmarks in the world and also drink a cocktail on top of it? How cool is that.

Entering At.Mosphere is done exactly the same way as the Armani restaurant we’re visiting later this evening. It’s a hectic in from the entrance. I think there are up to 50 bellboys and stuff making sure all the important people can ditch their car without having to look after it. We travel by taxi so it’s none of our concern.

The next thing we know we are standing in one of the fastest elevators in the world. This is downright crazy guys. Our ears are seriously hurting. But, we know we’re in for a treat once we reach level 122.

And what a treat it is. We’ve got a clear night view of the city and it’s surrounding. This view is so captivating that you don’t do anything else but stare for a few minutes. Once we get ‘accustomed’ to the view, we have a signature cocktail and a talk with the manager. We can’t help but having trouble listening. The view keeps making us wonder of and stare into the nightly oblivion.

Because we have a reservation ‘downstairs’ our visit is very swift. Which is kind of a bummer. We would have loved to stay longer but we just couldn’t. Next time we’re in Dubai we are for sure visiting again. And we’ll be bringing some serious cash, because a drink at At.Mosphere doesn’t come cheap you know…
